一群小螞蟻要遊戲城去玩。他們走在半路上，一條大河擋住瞭他們前進的路。他們分成瞭三隊過河：小馬隊，小西隊和小光隊。小馬隊想：我們的“船”上最好沒有洞。而且要容得下我們小馬隊的三隻螞蟻，最後他們找到瞭一片落葉當作船。小西隊想我們小隊有四名隊員，人數比小馬隊要多，我們得找一個大一點的船，於是他們用挖空的西瓜皮作為他們的船。隻有小光隊還沒有船，正在他們焦急萬分的時候他

們看到瞭一個空瓶子，於是他們就拿空瓶子當他們小隊的船瞭。

船都準備好瞭，三個小隊便跳上瞭自己的船，就向對岸劃去，當“船“漂到河中央時，他們爭論起來瞭。小馬隊說：“看，我們的船多穩啊！”小西隊聽瞭不服氣地說“我們的船多大啊！坐在裡面可舒服瞭。”小光隊聽瞭也不甘示弱：“我們的船漂得快！”一位老人正好路過，看到這一幕對他們說：“你們的船各有各的長處，要善於發現別人的長處。”螞蟻們聽瞭都慚愧地低下瞭頭。
