(With the development of our country,) the problem of environmental pollution has become more and more serious nowadays. For example, rubbish can easily be seen on the ground, rivers and even on the sea. It makes our city dirty. What’s worse, some sea animals even are killed by the rubbish. Besides, the air pollution becomes worse because there are so many cars in the city. They give out much harmful gases which do harm to our health.

As far as I am concerned, we students must pay attention to protecting our

environment. First, we can ride or walk to school instead of taking our parents’ cars. Second, we should turn off the light as soon as we leave the room. Third, we had better reduce the use of plastic-made things, such as plastic bags and lunchbox.
