Primeval Crater Forests

Ladies and Gentlemen,

Now we are going to visit Primeval Crater Forests. It is located at Zhangguangcailing Mountain to the northeast of Jingpo Lake and from the mountain peak a fantastic view of many large craters can be seen. In total, there are 10 craters situated throughout the crater forests. The area of the crater forests is 40 kilometers long and 5 kilometers wide. Because of natural formation of beauty, the Underground Forests, anther name of the crater forests, is a place you just have to see by yourself.

On the cliff of one special crater many trees grow and you may wonder why trees grow on the cliff. Well, long, long time ago, the rock in the crater mixed with volcanic ash which formed fertile soil. With an average temperature of four degrees centigrade, conditions are ver
